Vink Chemicals wanted its customers to find the right biocide for their use on their own, from its website. Gilbert and Vincent Brault extended the client's existing applications with a product selector served through a REST API: visitors filter the catalogue by product type, industry and active substance, and each product's datasheet is generated on demand in English or German. The product data is kept by the client's team in a single Excel master file, whose structure the software checks before publishing. A single-page web client embeds the selector in the corporate website, with product pages that search engines can index.
